Munden’s latest promo hits all the right notes:
I love to shoot performance promos, I get a real buzz from making people look great.
Dominic came to me with a piece that had a simple narrative running through it, which worked very well as Moya can express real emotion when she is performing.
I wanted the band scenes to have that 'Jazz Club' look to them, but also to give Moya the light to make her character come out.
On our location scout, Dominic and I worked hard to find places that had amazing ambient light and texture. London is such a great city for that, so many hidden gems can be found if you know what you are looking for.
We shot on the Arri Alexa, which I find gives me the best skin tones of any digital camera by far. It has such great latitude that shooting at night in the right locations can look fabulous.
